Hi everyone!

I wish I always wrote down the kids funny sentences, but one day I jotted a couple down during a conversation they were having.

Melanie turns 11 months tomorrow. One more month of making appointments for her at the gym. She crawls more and more. She is no longer contained in our drop down family room which has a one step down and used to keep her in it like a giant play-pen. No longer. She proudly displays her ability to crawl up the step quickly. And she has worked hard at it. She continues to be an easy-going, happy baby. Laughs a lot. Chad commented today that suddenly she has a toothy grin - 6 teeth.

It is so close to being good, balmy spring weather here. But just not quite. I want to be outside, but maybe give it a week more. I started some yard work before the last cold spell. And Chad was outside yesterday getting some yard stuff done. But our somewhat mellow winter just won't turn off so spring can get started.

Thomas is sick today, rare for him. And I know it's a REAL sick, as he's been sleeping a lot, and most of all, he's been quiet. Kinda sad to see such a usually active guy so deflated. This will make me appreciate his more crazy days - at least he'll be healthy.

Kayleigh wrote a book - "The Girl and the Golden Pot". Then she wrapped it in her own homemade wrapping paper, and gave it to me. Very cute. Her front tooth is just about to fall out, and she is still looking like Nanny McGee. We should go see that movie.

I've only not mentioned EV. I get to hang out with her in nursery every week. But she really cares very little if I'm there or not. She is needy at all other times (still can't give up that baby position in the family) but in Nursery, I'm not that exciting. I've learned I can lure her to me by playing "London Bridges". And if she won't fall down after "Ring Around the Rosies", she knows I'll tackle her, so of course she never falls down and just stands there giggling, waiting for me.

Hope y'all are well. Feel free to drop me a message (hint, hint).

Wisp

I went skiing at Wisp with our neighbor, Lisa. Wisp rules! After all, it is "Maryland's Premier Ski Resort". It is also Maryland's only ski resort.
